Work Averages
Scoring for the individuals who work an event will be as follows:
The rider's best 5 scores will be totaled and divided by five (5), rounded to the nearest whole number. This will give an additional score to the rider (work average).
Keep in mind that "working" a race is more than just showing up Sunday morning and telling the promoter you're there to work his race. You need to make arrangements at least 2 weeks in advance and, work according to the promoter's schedule and requirements. If the promoter needs you there on Saturday and Sunday then that's what is required to earn a work average. You must also be at the race site, working on race day to receive a work average.
If the promoter does not require help then no work average will be awarded for that race. It is up to the discretion of the promoter as to whether a work average is to be awarded to an individual rider.
